About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Linen Runner to join our team at Revelstoke Vacation Rentals. This is a fast-paced position that plays a critical role in ensuring our vacation rental properties are fully prepared for arriving guests.
The ideal candidate enjoys being active, working independently, and taking pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Pack and organize linen bags for scheduled departure cleans.
- Deliver clean linens and supplies to vacation rental properties throughout Revelstoke.
- Collect and transport dirty linens from properties back to our warehouse to be sent out to launder.
- Strip beds and remove used linens as required.
- Deliver guest consumables and amenities, including toiletries, coffee supplies, and household essentials.
- Complete arrival inspections to ensure properties meet company standards before guest check-in.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or inventory shortages.
- Maintain accurate records using company apps and checklists.
- Safely operate a company transit van while following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with other operational tasks as needed such as housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a transit van, cargo van, or larger vehicle is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications for work tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, delivery services, or property management is an asset but not required.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Candidates must be able to:
- Frequently lift and carry heavy linen bags.
- Walk up and down stairs regularly.
- Load and unload supplies throughout the day.
- Remain active for extended periods.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
