ROXIE TRUCKING INC. is located in Surrey BC, and looking to hire 2TRUCK DRIVERS as soon as possible.
Duties:
-Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, weighing over4600 kg
with three or more axles, to transport goods and materials todestinations.
-Oversee all aspects of vehicles, such as condition of equipment,loading
and unloading, and safety and security of cargo
-Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment suchas
tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
-Perform emergency roadside repairs.
-Record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption andother
information in logbook or on on-board computer.
-Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers using two-wayradio,
cellular telephone, and on-board computer.
-May required to complete forms and legal documentationaccording to
rules and regulations.
-Other duties as requested by management
Requirement:
Education: Completion of Secondary School
Experience: Training will be provided but experience in trucking would be an asset.
Certification: Should be eligible for Class 1 Driver’s License.
Language: English
Location of work: All over Canada, depending on contract and loads
Salary: $36.80 per hour for 45 hours
