Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver/Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and efficient movement of goods, proper inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation in warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, or AS400 platforms
- Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce and warehouse distribution channels
- Operate order pickers and perform order picking tasks efficiently to meet daily targets
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping schedules and inventory updates
- Follow safety procedures when operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other equipment
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving or order fulfillment roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems, or AS400 is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required; certification is preferred but not mandatory if training is provided
- Basic math skills necessary for counting inventory and verifying shipments
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, packaging standards, and order picking techniques
- Ability to load & unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
