Overview
We are seeking a skilled Taper, boarders to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to read blueprints and execute projects with precision. As a Taper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that drywall seams are properly finished and prepared for painting, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams, corners, and edges to create a smooth surface.
- Ensure all surfaces are prepared adequately for painting by sanding and finishing as required.
- Read and interpret .
- Measure and cut drywall
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Assist in other maintenance person tasks as needed throughout the construction process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall taping and boarding
- Strong skills in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans.
- Familiarity with caulking methods and materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
