Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as proficiency in various assembly techniques and tools.
Duties
- Assemble electronic components and systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform soldering tasks, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble products.
- Test assembled products using ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the assembly process.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or electronic assembly roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly processes.
- Knowledge of assembling cable harnesses.
- Experience with electrical wiring and basic electrical principles is essential.
