Split-fire Sales, a manufacturer of Log Splitters, Wood Chippers, and custom products is looking for a candidate in assembly and packaging. Split-fire is a manufacturing company that produces quality equipment, so the candidate must have an eye for quality when assembling and preparing machines for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Complete preassemblies for large production runs .
- Fabricate small parts for custom machines.
- Assemble weekly production runs for Split-fire and Fast Freddy products.
- Perform quality control checklists after assembly.
- Complete fluid fills and machine testing before shipping.
- Fabricate custom skids for machines.
- Complete palletization and fastening of machines.
- Maintain and clean work area.
- Unloading and organization of components.
Requirements:
- Mechanical skills surrounding assembly tools (wrenches, pliers, sockets, etc.)
- Ability to work safely with the correct PPE at all times
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with both office and manufacturing staff
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and quality
Compensation:
- $26-30/HR wage plus bonuses (Starting wage dependent on experience)
- Split-fire Health Benefits commence after probation period.
- Job Type: Full Time (44hr work week).
- Overtime may be required.
