Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter all general ledger entries; including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank deposits
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts; including posting of daily deposits, statements, and deposits in the general ledger
- Reconcile all payroll records and prepare payroll deductions
- Prepare all bank deposits and drawdowns; including purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Prepare monthly payroll entries and reconciliations
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- Preffered bookkeeping experience of 3 years; minimum 1 years in a bookkeeping capacity
- Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles
- Exeprience with Sage, Quickbooks.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (Microsoft Office Excel or similar)
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Management experience would be a plus
