Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for maximizing the utililization, reliability, and performance of plant equipment and facilities through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activites. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted production while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain predictive maintenance programs.
- Read, and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC - controlled systems.
- Diagnose equpiment issues, perform repairs, and document maintenance actities.
- Adjust machinery and repplace defective components as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance reocrds and track preventative maintenance schduels.
- Recommimeont equipment upgrades and process improvements to increase productivity and reliability.
- Obtain quotes and provide recommendations for tools equipment, materials and repairs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to plan and schedule maintenance activities, shut downs, and major repairs.
- Monitor, maintain and repair HVAC systems, ventilation and facility infrastructure.
- Perform general building maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and safe work practices.
- Train employees on equipment operation, maintenance procedures and safety features.
- Train emploees on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety features.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Source maintenance materials, supplies, and small tools as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and access to new products and technologies.
