Our client is an expanding manufacturing company specializing in high-precision tooling and mold-making. They produce critical components for injection and blow molding processes and are currently growing their team in Maple Ridge, BC.
Our client is looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join their precision machining and mold-making team.

Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble, and prepare new molds and tooling for production.
- Repair and refurbish existing molds, including bench work, fitting, grinding, and hand tool operations.
- Operate manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, and standard toolroom machinery.
- Perform precision hand-fitting, polishing, and finishing to meet tight tolerances (+/- 0.0005").
- Fabricate replacement components for molds as required.
- Identify and resolve mold performance issues to address defects like flash, short shots, and warpage.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mold making and toolroom machining.
- Strong background in manual machining, including mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools.
- Proficient in precision bench work, mold tear-down, fitting, repair, and polishing.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Skilled in diagnosing molding defects and recommending solutions.
- Experience using DRO (Digital Read Out) systems and blueprint reading.

Pay: $33.00-$44.00 per hour
