Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients through case management, ensuring they receive the necessary services and resources. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment. The Case Worker will play a vital role in helping clients navigate complex systems and achieve their personal goals.
Duties
- Conduct client interviews to assess needs and develop individualized plans
- Manage case files accurately using data entry and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Coordinate services by liaising with community resources, service providers, and internal teams
- Monitor client progress and adjust plans accordingly to meet their evolving needs
- Provide guidance and support through regular follow-ups and check-ins
- Maintain detailed documentation of case activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies
- Assist clients with accessing resources related to housing, employment, healthcare, or other social services
- Lead or participate in training & development sessions to enhance service delivery and team performance
- Supervise or mentor junior staff or interns as needed, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills
Requirements
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are highly desirable
- Prior experience in case management, social work, or related fields is preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview clients effectively and present information clearly
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
- Supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team coordination roles
- Ability to operate standard computer systems and perform basic computer operation tasks
- Experience in training & development is a plus for mentoring new staff or interns
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward clients’ needs
