We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and managing inventory levels
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving sizes, portion control, and food handling
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic knowledge of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
