This position requires excellent writing and interpersonal communication as well as mathematical aptitude and logical thinking. You will need to plan ahead, identify patterns and connections in order to develop a smooth and coordinated workflow.
In this position you will:
Provide administrative assistance to the Vice President, Sales Manager and Marketing Manager including correspondence, gathering and organizing sales statistics and royalty commission reports, communicate directly with third party suppliers & professional organizations and coordinate trade show exhibits.
Coordinate with staff and suppliers to successfully launch new products on various online platforms.
Update company and third party web sites with new products, copy, commentary and data.
Assist with customer service and troubleshooting for web site clients.
Design and produce various email marketing campaigns and newsletters including the format, copy and control of various email databases through a third party program.
Develop and deploy effective marketing materials including social media posts, blogs and press releases.
Working with various members of our sales staff to provide assistance with correspondence and complete licensing documents.
Other duties as required to further the goals of the Vice President, Sales Manager and the company as a whole.
The candidate we hire will offer:
- A love of writing and the proven ability to write effective business communication and promotional materials including web site content
- Expert skills in all Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Word and Excel both of which are crucial to success on this job
- Problem solving skills and a flexible approach to the workplace
- Familiarity with basic digital image formatting and manipulation
- Social Media experience (an ideal skill but not required)
- Ideal but not required working with Canva, Adobe, and OpenAI
- An understanding of Word Press and/or html coding and the importance of search engine optimization
- Attention to detail, including impeccable grammar and spelling – for both your own work and proofreading copy and material not written by you
- 3-5 years related experience, a proven business track record and successful completion of related course work/training
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
