Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the management of incoming and outgoing products, and maintaining and aiding in the organization of product within the warehouse. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses attention to detail.
Responsibilities
· Bin the pick line
· Stock boxes for pick section prior to starting pick.
· Choose appropriate size boxes for the route as needed.
· Pick magazines listed on each invoice and pack in boxes.
· Re-stock magazine supplies during pick from magazines provided in section.
· Sign off section of invoice for magazines picked.
· Assist other pickers when needed.
· Keep track of shortages and damages, count and pack any overstock.
· Break down skids after week’s pick is completed.
· Sort incoming skids.
· Keep area clean (garbage and straps)
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Manual dexterity to pick magazines with accuracy and speed.
· Strength to pick and push boxes through the section.
· Ability to lift magazine bundles of approximately 15-20 pounds in weight for extended periods of time.
· Good upper body mobility.
· Attention to detail to maintain accuracy of pick.
· Good command of the English language, verbal and written
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to maintain speed of pick to avoid bottleneck on the line.
