We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Hardware Testing Specialist/Electrical Engineer/Tech to join our team in developing and testing new hardware & lighting products. You will collaborate with our lead engineer to design and implement various hardware tests aimed at ensuring a reliable solution for our innovative lighting products. The solution includes power supplies, controllers, wiring systems, a network of LED lights, signal amplifiers, connectors, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive hardware test plans for lighting systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Conduct functional, performance, and reliability tests on hardware components, including power supplies, controllers, and LED networks.
- Develop and maintain automated test systems to improve testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to implement necessary modifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the testing process.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and any hardware issues encountered.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and other departments as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in hardware testing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in electronic product design and development, focusing on device and system-level product design and solution implementation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in electrical engineering and electronics.
- Familiarity with hardware design concepts, circuit analysis, and system integration.
- Experience with automated testing and scripting.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to hardware testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice to have: embedded firmware experience
