Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Provide guests with menus, answer questions about our offerings, and offer recommendations when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service.
- Handle guest inquiries politely over the phone, demonstrating good phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within restaurants or hotels.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service etiquette will be advantageous.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
