Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. This role involves managing various clerical tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office software, and excellent communication abilities to handle responsibilities and administrative duties efficiently.
Duties
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Workspace, and SAGE
- Filing, organizing documents, and managing paperwork in both digital and physical formats
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks and basic financial record keeping (Accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST)
- Supporting customer service efforts through professional phone etiquette and support
- Proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
- Coordinating appointments, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars
- Handling administrative support tasks such as copying, scanning, and mailing documents
- Reviewing and processing payroll
Qualifications
- Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with SAGE or bookkeeping is a plus
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, and document proofreading
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
