Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be an essential part of the operations department, supporting the efficient movement of goods and maintaining smooth warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Shipper/Receiver (Forklift Operator)
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay Range: $21-22/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
What's the Job?
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move pallets within the warehouse
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments efficiently and safely
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support team members in daily warehouse operations
What's Needed?
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate sit-down forklifts safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude
- Ability to work well within a team environment
