Job Summary
Arterra Wines Canada is Canada’s leading producer and marketer of award-winning, globally recognized Canadian and imported wines. We are currently seeking Winery Support Associates to join our team for the busy winery season.
Winery Support Associates play a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and daily operations of the winery. This position focuses on behind-the-scenes support to ensure an exceptional experience for guests and staff alike. Ideal candidates are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining high standards.
Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Stocking wine, merchandise, and supplies throughout the retail and storage areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of facilities, including bathrooms, tasting areas, and common spaces
- Removing garbage and recycling regularly and safely
- Polishing glassware to winery standards
- Assisting with setup and teardown for daily operations and special events
- Supporting team members with general operational tasks as required
- Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Ensuring all health and safety standards are followed
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work well within a team-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand and be active for long periods of time
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Assets (Not Required):
- Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or general labour
- Experience working in a winery, retail, or food & beverage environment
Pay: $18.00 per hour
