Nursery Labourer/Greenhouse Worker
Leong's Nursery 7487 Meadow Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. is hiring for seasonal, full time Nursery Labourer/Greenhouse Worker. Work to start approx. Jan. 5, 2027 for about seven months, 40 hours per week with work on weekends. Wage is $18.25/hour.
Duties include planting bulbs, seedlings, & plants; preparing assorted pots & trays with soil; crop production, watering & monitoring irrigation system; picking orders, condensing, & stocking; & general clean up. Some tasks are repetitive with a lot of lifting, bending, kneeling, standing and pushing of heavy carts in a fast-paced environment. Work is in all types of weather. Formal education is not required; experience in farming is an asset.
