Title: Night Collections Attendant
Base Wage: $18.50 p/h

We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Night Collections Attendant to join our Park Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
- Collection of parks fees, firewood sales, register campers
- Complete end of shift duties; balancing deposit, completion of log books, submitting deposit for safekeeping)
- Liaise with BC Parks information services to inform them on campground occupancies and vacancies
- Provide site security and enforcement of Park policies; report incidents and occurrences efficiently to lead hand, supervisor or manager
- Ensure high levels of customer service; provide campers with information on park activities (hiking, fishing, canoeing)
- Respond to campers inquiries and provide assistance when required
- Represent BC Parks and Manning Park Resort in a professional manner
- Record and report traffic counter results and park stats
- Equipment inspection and maintenance
- Clean and maintain parks facilities according to BC Parks standards (including but not limited to pit toilets, garbage bins, campsites, picnic tables, firepits common areas, wash houses, and shower stalls)
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Other tasks as required
This is a seasonal position. You must be available from July until October.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Available to work flexible hours. Shift Times 15:00-23:30/16:30-01:00
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Previous experience handling money, POS Systems, and record keeping.
- Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check.
- Minimum of a Class 5 drivers license required.
- Experience with landscaping and working with power tools an asset.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team player.
- Value safe working practices.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English.
