Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations,
- Assess patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
- Utilize dental software for documentation review and patient management.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the dental clinic environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
- Stay updated on relevant advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, as well as general dentistry practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
