Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropodist/Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of podiatric conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various podiatric conditions.
- Administer medications and perform minor procedures as necessary, adhering to medical protocols.
- Manage acute care cases, providing immediate relief for urgent foot and ankle issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals using electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner for accurate documentation and data collection.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and proper footwear choices.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at advancing podiatric medicine practices.
- Assist in home care visits for patients requiring ongoing podiatric support outside the clinical setting.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and medical terminology conventions.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital or clinical settings with a focus on patient care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pain management techniques.
- Experience working with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Ability to perform in acute care environments with a focus on pediatrics and home care services.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Capable of managing data collection for research purposes and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and experience in medical office settings is advantageous.

Pay: $24.70-$134.68 per hour
