Our client is an established manufacturing operation in New Brunswick and is on the hunt for a Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager.

The Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day plant operations, overseeing maintenance activity, supporting the team on the floor, and helping drive operational improvement across the site.
Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and support daily plant operations to ensure production, maintenance, safety, and quality expectations are met
- Oversee maintenance priorities, repairs, preventative maintenance, parts planning, and equipment reliability
- Provide hands-on leadership to plant, maintenance, shop, and/or production employees
- Be visible on the floor, identify operational issues, and ensure problems are addressed quickly and practically
- Coach, guide, and hold team members accountable to performance, safety, and productivity standards
- Improve maintenance processes, work planning, communication, and overall plant discipline
- Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost control, and stronger site performanc
- Support change management in an experienced plant environment while building trust and credibility with the team
- Ensure plant activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company expectations
The successful candidate has:
- Progressive experience in plant operations, maintenance leadership, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related environment
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager (and) or Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Maintenance Superintendent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical understanding of equipment, repairs, downtime, preventative maintenance, and plant operation
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and direct trades, operators, production employees, or plant staff
- A hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with experienced employe
- The ability to bring structure, accountability, and practical improvement to a plant environment
- A steady, mature leadership approach and the confidence to challenge “we have always done it this way” thinking
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience
