Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, with the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, or reach trucks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and contribute to efficient distribution processes in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and transport materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize warehouse management systems through RF scanner and our software system for inventory tracking and order processing
- Perform occasional heavy lifting and manual handling of materials while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and update system data accordingly
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution operations
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation (forklifts, reach trucks ) is highly desirable
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to operate warehouse management systems using an RF Scanner
- Physical ability for occasional heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
- Strong attention to safety protocols when handling heavy equipment and materials
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills
- Prior experience with order picker machines, packaging, load & unload tasks preferred
