Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport appliances using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and moving tools
- Deliver appliances to customers’ homes promptly while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service
- Assist with the installation or setup of appliances as needed, ensuring proper operation and safety standards are met
- Communicate clearly with customers to coordinate delivery times and address any questions or concerns
- Conduct thorough inspections of appliances before delivery to ensure quality and completeness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and safety documentation throughout your shift
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate schedules, inventory movement, and equipment needs for efficient deliveries
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries and setup
- Familiarity with moving techniques and equipment such as dollies, straps, or forklifts is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Experience working with warehouse management systems or delivery scheduling software is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
