Operations Coordinator

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.
- Supervise and support staff to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Coach employees through performance management, goal setting, and professional development.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Resolve employee concerns and conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance check-ins.
Scheduling & Payroll Administration
- Prepare and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage.
- Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
- Approve time-off requests and coordinate scheduling adjustments as needed.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all store operations are running efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and security procedures.
- Develop and maintain operational processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Coordinate and oversee marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Develop creative in-store events and weekly customer engagement activities to increase traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners on product launches, demonstrations, and special events.
- Build excitement within the store through promotions, contests, education sessions, and community engagement activities.
- Assist with social media content, promotional materials, and customer outreach initiatives.
Inventory & Ordering
- Manage product ordering and inventory replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Analyze sales trends and purchasing patterns to optimize product selection.
- Coordinate pop up with suppliers & events with suppliers
- Always researching newest and latest hot products in market
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Support initiatives designed to increase revenue and profitability.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Implement strategies to increase customer retention and repeat business.
- Encourage selling opportunities through staff training and engagement.
Product Knowledge & Training
- Ensure staff maintain strong product knowledge and confidently educate customers.
- Coordinate ongoing training sessions and educational opportunities.
- Keep the team informed about new products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Previous retail experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with employee scheduling and payroll administration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency with:

- Strong references from previous employers.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field is considered an asset.
