Martin Brothers Contracting Limited is a Nova Scotia general contractor with a stable, year-round book of renovation work. Our in-house carpentry crew isn't a revolving door — we build long-term with people who take pride in the work. What You'll Be Doing
You'll be hands-on across the full scope of renovation carpentry — framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, flooring, tiling, siding, decks, millwork, doors, windows, and stairs. You'll read and interpret blueprints, manage materials on site, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and mentor apprentices.
What We're Looking For
Must have:
- Red Seal Certification
- 10+ years of journeyman carpentry experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to have:
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors or managing materials
- Comfort mentoring apprentices
- Interest in eventually moving into construction management
