Job Overview
We are a popular, very busy, West Island breakfast restaurant. We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for welcoming them warmly and ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to excel in a high paced, high volume restaurant. Must be bilingual, MUST HAVE HOSTESSING EXPERIENCE, MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS (usually Saturdays) as well as Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Must be able to take charge all whilst being patient and polite, but ensure the restaurants policies are strictly followed.
- Clean, bus, and re-set tables, pour coffee and observe customers needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience a hostess is required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food service operations and etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- In addition to salary, you will receive a daily cash TIP-OUT as well, based on a percentage of server sales.
