Position Overview
The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the supervision and direction of a Registered Physiotherapist to assist with client treatments, clinic activities, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the physiotherapist with treatment and exercise programs.
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment.
- Assist clients with prescribed exercises and treatment activities as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Monitor and report client responses or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Maintain cleanliness , doing laundry and organization of the clinic.
- Provide friendly and professional support to clients.
- Assist with basic reception and administrative duties when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant is an asset.
- Experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic is preferred but not required.
- Reception or administrative experience is an asset.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working with clients of different ages and needs.
- Punjabi-speaking is an asset.
- Must be available to work evenings, with the ability to work until 8:00 PM when scheduled.
