We are currently hiring for the position of:
PRODUCTION MANAGER, FESTIVAL VILLAGE
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Production Services, this position is responsible for the technical production support of Roy Thomson Hall, Royal Alex and Princess of Wales Red Carpet, Festival Street technical builds, run and strike.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaising with Internal TIFF teams regarding Festival builds
Creating Technical production schedule(s) for DPS, RAT, POW, Festival St and supporting the technical input for all schedules used by TIFF teams
Working with power vendor to confirm requirements for DPS and Festival St needs
On-site contact for TPS, overseeing technical team on set-ups and strikes of DPS, RAT, POW and Festival St closure
Supporting the scheduling of crew documentation of the load in/outs for all the listed venues
Communicating schedules for generator crews for DPS and Festival Street
Ensuring all content is received and prepped for video team for DPS screens and Festival St activations as needed
Working with AV vendors on making sure all equipment has been ordered for for DPS and Festival Street
Managing all technical requests and band riders before Festival begins for DPS and Festival Street
Scheduling sound checks
Act as a point of escalation for technical production
Documentation and communication of all production details; including run of shows, content workflow and all documentation for success events
Attending production meetings as requested by Senior Manager to and making sure information is properly communicated to other team members after meetings
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
Job Grade 2
$28.00 / hour
Our salary ranges reflect the range of skills and experience required for the role. Typically, candidates new to the role are positioned up to the midpoint of the range, with progression through the range based on performance and development over time. The top of the salary band is for employees who consistently demonstrate high performance in their role.

Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years Live Event production experience, large scale and Festival events experience an asset
Excellent understanding of technical aspects
Specific technical experience with large stages and activations
Strong managerial, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented
Solid project management skills, and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail is a must; there are a lot of projects happening at the same time, needs to keep on top of everything to ensure that project details are accurately communicated to all team members in a timely manner
Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Ability to work in a team environment and share information with many teams
Outgoing personality as this role works with both internal and external clients
Ensuring information is documented in timely manner
Ensuring schedules are communicated and content material are turned around in timely manner, as well as last minute requests from programming leads
Flexible as schedule is based on events schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
Able to work longer days and weekends during Festival dates
