Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Kitchen Staff member to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders and payments accurately
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and assembly to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Excellent cash handling abilities combined with basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities
