Raise is currently hiring a Project Training & Deployment Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Project Training & Deployment Coordinator will serve as a Training Coordinator for the Distribution Design Modernization (DDM) project. This role is central to coordinating, scheduling, and managing all training activities, participants, facilities, and equipment required to successfully deploy this modernized design system to the business. The successful candidate will support the Training Delivery Lead to ensure over 1,000 employees and contractors are seamlessly transitioned and equipped for full adoption.
About the DDM Project
The Distribution Design Modernization (DDM) project is one of the largest and most complex technology initiatives to date at our client. The initiative will transform operational capabilities through several key integrations:

Work Management Migration: Migrating existing Distribution Design capabilities from Passport to SAP.

Modern Design Tools: Implementing Automated Utility Design (AUD), combining graphical and tabular design with complex engineering calculations.

Systems Integration: Integrating the new design tool with SAP for automated bill of materials (BOM) generation and job estimation, and with GIS for precise asset location data.

Process Modernization: Replacing the Gateway customer connections solution with SAP to modernize electrical connection request processes.
Responsibilities
- Training Coordination & Delivery
-
Coordinate, schedule, and manage all training participants, training facilities, catering, and equipment under the direction of the Training Delivery Lead.

Plan and manage training delivery to target audiences, executing the training delivery approach by delivering content directly where appropriate or enabling other trainers.

Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training materials and delivery, capture lessons learned, and execute corrective measures as needed.

Develop a training sustainment plan and seamlessly hand over materials and long-term sustainment plans to business operations.

Change Management Support

Support the creation and implementation of comprehensive change management plans by conducting thorough current-state and future-state needs assessments across multiple disciplines.

Support the assessment and translation of complex technical subject matter into highly accessible content tailored to target audiences.

Collaborate with the project team to support the design and development of training materials for low-impact changes (including presentations, job aids, quick-reference guides, and information briefs) utilizing the organizations standards, guidelines, and templates.
Qualifications
-
(1) year of dedicated change management experience or equivalent role depth.

A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience designing, developing, and delivering training within a formal project environment.

A quick learner capable of synthesizing, organizing, and making sense of highly technical information from multiple diverse sources.

Very strong Excel skills with proven proficiency in building, managing, and navigating complex reporting capabilities.

Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently, unsupervised, and with little direction while managing multiple competing priorities under tight timelines.

Extreme, demonstrable attention to detail across data, logistics, and documentation.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable and confident with public speaking and presentation delivery.

Assets & Preferred Software Experience

Familiarity and hands-on experience with MS SharePoint is considered a strong asset.

Experience with Camtasia or alternative video editing software (e.g., Windows Movie Maker) is an asset.

Education and Certifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Technology, Business, or related discipline
- PROSCI Certification, an asset
Additional Information
Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
