Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpentry Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support skilled carpenters and construction professionals by performing a variety of labour-intensive tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building projects. Your energy and enthusiasm will help drive projects forward, ensuring quality workmanship and timely delivery. Responsibilities
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project execution
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary tools and equipment
- Assist with the installation of cabinets, siding, flooring, tiles, and other finishing components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently to perform various carpentry tasks
- Participate in restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures with precision and care
- Support roofing, framing, drywall installation, caulking, and siding tasks as needed
- Help with heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, concrete blocks, rebar, or roofing supplies while maintaining safety protocols
- Assist with plumbing and electrical work under supervision for integrated project tasks
- Contribute by providing accurate measurements and material needs when required
Experience
- Prior construction experience or hands-on work in carpentry or woodworking is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings is a strong advantage
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, tile laying or siding is desirable
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments
- Previous handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset

Pay: $17.60-$28.00 per hour
