Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing guest inquiries
- Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols
- Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing payments and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist in stocking supplies and organizing work areas to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to uphold restaurant standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
