Bullarco Inc. is a growing roofing and exterior contracting company specializing in residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support our financial and administrative operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong bookkeeping skills, and understands the unique requirements of the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with external accountants and advisors.
Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Prepare and submit CRA payroll remittances.
- Assist with HST reporting and filings.
- Manage WSIB reporting and related documentation.
- Maintain employee records and payroll documentation.
Office Administration
- Manage Jobber administration and customer records.
- Enter supplier invoices and maintain vendor accounts.
- Assist with project administration and document management.
- Organize digital files and maintain administrative systems.
- Support management with reporting and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Experience processing payroll and payroll remittances.
- Familiarity with HST filings and WSIB reporting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction industry bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Jobber or similar field service software.
- Understanding of job costing and project-based accounting.
- Experience supporting growing small businesses.
