Envisivent – Technical Product Specialist
Position Summary
As the Technical Product Specialist, you will be the product expert for the Envisivent brand, providing exceptional customer service while helping customers select the right premium vent solutions for their projects.
This role combines technical product knowledge, inside sales, customer support, and order management. You will work with builders, contractors, architects, designers, retailers, and homeowners to understand project requirements, recommend products, prepare custom manufactured vent orders, and ensure every order is processed accurately.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering premium customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Technical Product Expertise
- Become the technical expert on the Envisivent product line, including product features, specifications, applications, and installation requirements.
- Interpret customer drawings, dimensions, and project specifications to recommend the appropriate products.
- Provide technical support, product recommendations, and troubleshooting to customers.
Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional, timely, and knowledgeable service.
- Build strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, designers, retailers, and homeowners.
- Monitor incoming emails and prioritize customer requests to ensure timely responses
- Resolve customer concerns regarding product selection, orders, shipping, and product issues.
Custom Order & E-Commerce Management
- Manage custom manufactured vent orders from quotation through shipment, ensuring all specifications are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate custom orders with production, warehouse, and shipping teams while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Manage the Shopify e-commerce platform, including order processing, product listings, and inventory updates.
Operational Support
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with accounting, production, warehouse, purchasing, and marketing to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide customer and market feedback to support product improvements and new product development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer-facing technical sales, product specialist, or customer service role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, measurements, and product specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
Pay: $53,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
