Garrick’s Head Pub and The Churchill Draught House are looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Cook & Dishwasher to join our kitchen team full-time.
This is a hands-on role that is essential to the success of our kitchen. You will be responsible for food preparation, dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
What You'll Do
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Wash dishes, cookware, glassware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support cooks and chefs with daily prep tasks
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Weekend and evening availability is required
