MRO is currently seeking a full-time Overmolding Operator to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill molds with mixed material or apply material to molds to achieve specified thickness.
- Mold parts or products using vibrators, hand presses, or casting equipment, and ensure uniformity by tapping or tilting molds.
- Operate and adjust heating equipment controls to melt materials or cure, dry, or bake filled molds according to specifications.
- Open molds and remove finished products.
- Measure ingredients and mix molding or casting material or sealing compound to prescribed consistency based on formulas.
- Assemble, insert, and adjust wires, tubes, cores, fittings, rods, or patterns into molds using hand tools and depth gauges.
- Remove excess material, level, and smooth wet mold mixture.
- Load or stack filled molds in ovens, dryers, curing boxes, or on storage racks or carts.
- Read work orders or examine parts to determine the specific section or part of the product to be produced.
- Select appropriate size and type of mold according to instructions.
- Install and secure molds or mold parts together.
- Brush or spray the surface of molds with parting agents or insert paper to ensure smoothness and prevent sticking or seepage.
- Measure and cut products to specified dimensions using measuring and cutting instruments.
- Align and assemble parts to produce completed products using gauges and hand tools.
- Inspect and test parts or products for defects, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
- Fasten metal inserts, such as drainage tubes, bolts, or electrical connections to products using hand tools and power tools.
- Clean, trim, smooth, and polish products or parts.
- Clean and lubricate molds and mold parts.
- Engrave or stamp identifying symbols, letters, or numbers on products.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Molding and Casting Worker or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of molding and casting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to quality and adherence to standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Molding Operator: 1 year (required)
- Morgan Press : 1 year (preferred)
- yuhdak molding machine: 1 year (preferred)
- Moldman 6000: 1 year (preferred)
- Potting: 1 year (preferred)
- Working with epoxy : 1 year (preferred)
