IGA Madeira Park (located at 12887 Madeira Park Road) is currently looking for a passionate foodie to join our team as a Meat Cutter. With a passion for food, you are a person who loves working with people and creating a positive experience for others.
Job Overview
The Meat Cutter is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Meat Cutter will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
Reporting to the Meat Manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Street Credentials:
- Previous expereince working as a Meat Cutter or in a similar capacity an asset
- You enjoy interacting with guests and offering recommendations on the variety of meat and seafood products we offer
- You have previous experience working in a butcher shop preferred
- You have excellent communications skills both verbally and in written
- You have a great eye for detail and are highly organized
- You love a clean working environment
- You enjoy working in a team and can work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment
- You are able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Must have a VALID work authorization in Canada. (We are unable to assist candidates in obtaining a Canadian Work Authorization/Permit)
