Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness and order in our hotel or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, are spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained. This role is essential in providing guests with a clean and comfortable experience and contributes to the overall positive impression of our establishment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other shared spaces
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
- Monitor the condition of public spaces and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Respond to maintenance requests from in-house guests
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, if and when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests or visitors
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned
Experience
- Experience with industrial cleaning tools and techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with hospitality standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
