Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apprentice Pipefitter /Skilled Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of hands-on tasks in manufacturing, construction, and maintenance environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including hoisting and rigging, moving pipe and spools with equipment, bolt up and hydro testing, to support job completion with precision and safety. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
- Utilize hand tools, pneumatic and other devices for precise and efficient work
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspection on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation
- Support manufacturing processes by assembling parts, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting issues
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Mechanical and tool knowledge related to manufacturing or construction environments
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools, rigging equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of equipment operation and moving materials safely and loading finished product for shipment
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols in industrial settings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks for extended periods
