Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Engage children in educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's progress and well-being
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with special education staff to support children with disabilities or special needs
- Utilize computer skills and classroom management software to organize lesson plans and student information
- Demonstrate leadership in guiding classroom activities and mentoring assistant staff or Early Childhood Education students.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to operate basic computer applications and classroom management software
- Classroom experience demonstrating leadership, creativity, and adaptability
- Exceptional writing skills for documentation and parent communication
- Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are highly advantageous
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check

Pay: $16.00-$24.00 per hour
