Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided tours of various locations (Greater Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler and the Rockies), providing visitors with information and insights
- Educate visitors about the history, culture, and significance of the sites
- Deliver engaging and informative presentations to groups of varying sizes
- Lead tours in a professional and enthusiastic manner, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants
- Manage time effectively to ensure that tours run smoothly and stay on schedule
- Communicate clearly and effectively with visitors, answering questions and providing assistance as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that visitors' needs are met and exceeded
Experience:
- Previous experience as a tour guide or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate information to diverse audiences
- Leadership abilities to confidently guide and manage tour groups
- Excellent time management skills to keep tours on schedule
