Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Rêve Pharma. The successful candidate will be responsible for releasing compounded sterile and non-sterile medications according to NAPRA and GMP regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete the final technical check of sterile/non-sterile compounded preparations
- Maintain understanding and practise of NAPRA sterile and non-sterile standards, OCP regulations, and USP 797
- A/QPIC responsibilities
- Maintain records and documentation
- Preform calculations as per batch records
- Weight verifications
- Preform vial reconciliation for all batches
- Ensure proper storage requirements of products are being met
- Preform initial check of batch records and materials before compounding
- Ensure batches are released in a timely manner
- Assist in training of staff as needed
- Assist pharmacist as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy environment
- Strong knowledge of compounding procedures, techniques, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Monday-Friday 1pm - 9pm shift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
