Duties
- Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials using hand tools and power equipment
- Follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, and making necessary repairs before installation
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and saws to secure siding panels properly
- Lift heavy siding materials safely and efficiently while maintaining proper posture and safety protocols
- Apply caulking around seams and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a seamless finish
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction or carpentry work, especially siding installation preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading for precise execution
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and installation tasks
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Handyman experience or related skills that demonstrate versatility in construction tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
