Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our welcoming dental practice. Responsibilities
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software
- Support the dental team with sterilization, instrument preparation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with a friendly attitude
- Provide comprehensive Dental Hygiene care, including cleanings, periodontal therapy and preventative treatments.
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accuraate patient records
- Work collaboratively with our Dentists and team to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Help create a comfortable and positaive experience for every patient.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental office management software
- Knowledge of all Periodontal conditions and able to speak on the topics professionally, knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Ability to speak with patients regarding outstanding treatment and to treatment plan efficiently
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Previous Canadian Dental experience, working within a busy dental office environment and able to maintain a full schedule
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic demeanor
- Familiarity with dental equipment, sterilization protocols, and infection control standards
