Main Areas of Responsibility
Primary contributions will be to program plan, implement and evaluate social recreational programs for school-aged children.
Ensure that childcare licensing regulations are followed.
Hours: September to June, Monday to Friday between 1:00pm-6:45pm
Location: Location will vary., applicant must be willing to drive to different centers.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education relating to areas of work; such as Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work or Psychology.
Experience planning recreational activities for large groups of youth
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Food Safe Certificate
Class IV driver’s license or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment, $1.00 wage supplement when using Class 4 driver’s license
Condition of Employment: The successful candidate must complete and successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.
