Overview
We are looking for a part time dental hygienist that is friendly and outgoing, and emphasizes high quality patient care, schedule is flexible. This role requires strong communication skills with patients of all ages.
Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth
- Take radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
- Assist with periodontal assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of all dental instruments and operatories
- Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout visits
- Keep detailed records
Skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
