TIG Welder/Fabricator
Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday | Day Shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
For over 30 years, Fostey Stainless Products has been a custom metal fabricator specializing in stainless steel food service equipment. We take pride in designing and manufacturing high-quality custom solutions for commercial kitchens, restaurants, and food processing facilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Fit, position, clamp and tack components prior to final welding.
- Operate fabrication equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Use measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Work independently while effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced fabrication shop.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
- Demonstrated experience welding stainless steel; experience with aluminum and mild steel is considered an asset.
- Strong fabrication/fitting skills.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and shop specifications.
- Experience using conventional and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience would be considered strong assets:
- Stainless steel polishing to a #4 finish.
- Experience fabricating custom stainless steel food service equipment.
- Experience working in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience and welding test results.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
