Vernon's ARC Liquor on 58th Avenue is looking for a friendly, reliable Liquor Store Clerk to join our team! Are you passionate about customer service, wine, and local craft beers? Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and product knowledge
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and boost sales
- Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked
- Answer phone inquiries professionally and promptly
- Demonstrate featured products when needed
- Support other team tasks as required
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 19+ years of age with a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication skills in English
- Comfortable with physical work: standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience in customer service or retail (any field)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in beer, wine, or liquor sales
- Knowledge of craft beers, spirits, and wine
- Ability to upsell and build rapport with customers
- Positive team player who gets along well with others
